Ballistics- .38 semi-wadcutter vs 9x19mm parabellum FMJ

  • (1960's police) The wound cavity of the .38 special Semi-Wadcutter is much larger due to the size and design of the bullet and the amount of powder in the cartridge.
  • (Todays police) The cavity of the 9mm FMJ is much smaller but bounces around in the body due to its copper jacket and its 124 grain composition.
